1950'S TUB IN NEED OF SOME LOVE

This was an old metal tub from the 1950's that had been previously resurfaced years ago. After removing the old failing coating, the original porcelain was chipped and pitted, and the surface needed extensive repairs. Once it was returned to smooth the tub was resurfaced in a Kohler white to match the rest of the bathroom.

A RUSTY RENTAL RESFRESHED

This customer called because a rusty spot was forming in the bathtub of one of her rental properties. She also wanted to address an outdated vanity top. The rust was removed and the bottom of the tub was leveled to drain properly before being resurfaced. The vanity was done in a stone finish, but this left the old white tile holding the space back, so we recommended matching it to the vanity. The new look unified the room and the customer was thrilled.

A NOT SO SMALL HOLE

The large garden tub pictured above had  a major crack near the drain and was not holding water. The wood underneath was wet and rotting and was removed and replaced with expanding marine grade urethane foam. Sheets of fiberglass and fiberglass reinforced filler were used to create a solid foundation before the tub was resurfaced in a stone finish. The customer was able to use the tub the following morning.
